Patching - Technical Data

Lay out and mark all areas of repair.

Excavate areas to be repaired to a depth of 6”. Dispose of all debris offsite.

Square surface of repair and cut walls of repair to produce vertical edges.
-
Roll existing subgrade materials to achieve maximum density.
-
Mechanically apply liquid asphalt tack coat to all vertical edges of repair.
-
Install 6” of hot mix asphalt base course material.
-
Roll asphalt base course to achieve a true and firm finish matching existing grade.
